Teen Group is for young people in high school, grades 9 through 12. It is a closed, 7-week group, meeting once a week.
This group is for teenagers who would like more support in managing the stressors and pressures of high school life (social pressures, romantic relationships, questioning gender identity and sexuality, parent/family conflicts, homework, future after high school, applying for college, life transitions, etc). Group members support one another, process about struggles they are experiencing, and learn and practice strategies for navigating high school skillfully.
This group includes peer support and processing, psychoeducation, skill development, games, art and fun. It is open to teens of all genders, and is welcoming and inclusive of queer and trans teens.
